Dr. Chuck Stevenson has been providing compassionate, community-focused eye care for more than 35 years. A longtime presence in DeFuniak Springs, he spent over three decades as a private practice owner, building lasting relationships with generations of local families.
Originally from Florala, Alabama, near beautiful Lake Jackson, Dr. Stevenson earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Auburn University before completing his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. He is a Board Certified Optometric Physician with extensive experience in ocular disease management and comprehensive eye care.
Dr. Stevenson’s passion for optometry comes from a simple but meaningful place: caring for people. Throughout his career, he has focused on helping patients protect their vision while feeling comfortable, informed, and supported during every visit.
Outside of the office, Dr. Stevenson enjoys spending time with his wife, Jill, and their family. He also enjoys golfing, hiking, fishing, and spending time at the beach and on the bay. Dr. Stevenson remains actively involved in the community as a member of the Lions Club.
