Dr. Kaydee Butler is proud to provide hometown eye care to the community that helped shape her. Born and raised in DeFuniak Springs, she brings a personal connection to the families and patients she serves each day at The Vision Hub.
Dr. Butler earned her undergraduate degree from Troy University before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. She later completed a residency in ocular diseases and low vision rehabilitation at the Lexington Veterans Hospital, where she gained advanced experience managing complex eye conditions and urgent eye care cases.
Her passion for optometry comes from the meaningful connection between eye health and overall health. Dr. Butler believes the eyes can reveal important signs about the body, allowing doctors to identify concerns early while also helping patients experience clearer, more comfortable vision that can truly change daily life.
Dr. Butler has a special interest in urgent eye care and ocular disease management and enjoys the variety each day brings in patient care. She is also passionate about helping patients understand their eye health through clear communication and personalized guidance.
Outside of the office, Dr. Butler enjoys spending time with her husband, James, their daughter, two dogs, and cat. She also enjoys cooking new recipes, listening to true crime podcasts, and spending time outdoors at the beach, pool, or camping.
